1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Kermels Educational Management Information System (KEMIS), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all school administrators, teachers, parents, and students who interact with the portal.
2. Service Description and Fees
KEMIS provides a comprehensive educational management suite. Access to the system is subject to a service fee of 1,500 NGN per learner per academic term (unless otherwise specified by contract). Failure to remit payment within the agreed timeframe may result in temporary suspension of portal access.
3. User Accounts and Security
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Any activity occurring under a user account is the sole responsibility of the account holder. KEMIS will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your account due to negligence.
4. Data Privacy & Protection
We take the security of student records and institutional data seriously. KEMIS employs industry-standard encryption to protect data. By using the system, you grant KEMIS the right to process data solely for the purpose of providing educational management services in compliance with relevant data protection laws.
5. Intellectual Property
All software code, interface designs, logos (KEMIS), and documentation are the exclusive property of Kermels Educational MIS. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or distribute any part of the system without explicit written consent.
6. Limitation of Liability
While we strive for 99.9% uptime, KEMIS is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from system downtime, internet connectivity issues at the user end, or data entry errors by institutional staff.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any breach of these Terms, including but not limited to the non-payment of subscription fees.
